Evelyn Grimes is the manager of outreach and organizer of our writers. She is passionate about keeping people on schedule and dealing with numbers and spreadsheets. They love to write reviews of movies, interview everyday people, and explore downtown. Their dream is to be a fashion journalist; The Devil Wears Prada directed by David Frankel has been an important vocational inspiration. She has always had an interest in humanities and art and how they’re affected by history.

Lee Anderson is the website manager and editor-in-chief for the Indy Underground. Music, politics, and story-writing are a few of their many interests, which they hope to incorporate into the paper. Lee chose their role in the newspaper because they want to challenge others to communicate as efficiently as they can. Lee’s current dream is to be a novelist or journalist but as their educational career progresses they want to look further into political science and criminal justice. 

Lucia Schneider is a co-editor and the design and layout manager. She tends to gravitate towards artistic roles, so she aims to make the Indy Underground a space for creativity and originality, as well as give people her age a reason to pay attention to the world around them. She wants to make newspapers and printed media more accessible to the people of Indianapolis.

Isa Gaffud is the head of our photography department, co-editor, and social media manager. She has always been passionate about journalism, and even has a taste for photographic journalism. Isa is an assistant editor of the Herron Yearbook and helps with photography for the operation. She wants to update the community through our social media, emphasizing that the world is becoming increasingly connected through the internet.
