Indy Underground is an teen-produced newspaper based in Indianapolis. It was founded by four students at Herron High School and has a staff of over twenty writers.

We strive to create a culture of curiosity among fellow young adults coming-of-age in the Downtown scene. With our entirely peer written, edited, and advertised works that cannot be recreated by AI, our budding journalists are able to capture the world as they see it. They bring their unique life experiences and points of views into each and every piece.

Our paper provides a little bit of something for everyone—not only fact-checked articles on Politics, Opinions, and Events, but also creative Film reviews and Student Poetry. Check out our website and subscribe to the newsletter for updates on new articles, monthly in-person distributions, and more.
